Definition, Classification, Function, Principle And Characteristics Of Pressure Transmitter

Generally speaking, pressure transmitter is mainly composed of load cell sensor (also known as pressure sensor), measuring circuit and process connector.
It can convert the physical pressure parameters such as gas and liquid sensed by the pressure sensor of the pressure measuring element into standard electrical signals (such as 4-20madc, etc.) to supply secondary instruments such as indicator alarm instrument, recorder and regulator for measurement, indication and process adjustment.

Classification of pressure transmitters
Pressure transmitter according to the measurement range can be divided into general pressure transmitter (0.001MPa ~ 35MPa) and differential pressure transmitter (0 ~ 1.5kpa), negative pressure transmitter three; In terms of accuracy, the accuracy of our national standard is 0.5%. Therefore, in recent years, it can be divided into high-precision pressure transmitter (0.1% or 0.2% or 0.075%) and general pressure transmitter (0.5%).

The function of pressure transmitter
A pressure transmitter sends a pressure signal to an electronic device that displays the pressure on a computer.

Principle of pressure transmitter:
The mechanical signal of hydraulic pressure is converted into the electronic signal such as current (4-20ma), and the pressure is linearly related to the voltage or current, which is generally proportional. Therefore, the output voltage or current of the transmitter increases with the increase of pressure. Thus, a relationship between pressure and voltage or current can be obtained.
Pressure transmitter of the medium under test two kinds of pressure into the high and low pressure chamber, low pressure chamber pressure using atmospheric pressure or vacuum, acting on the two sides of the diaphragm (that is, the sensitive element), the gap between the two sides of the diaphragm through the gap and the element filling fluid to the measurement of the two sides of the diaphragm. The pressure transmitter is a capacitor composed of a measuring diaphragm and electrodes on both sides of an insulating sheet. When the pressure on both sides is inconsistent, the measured diaphragm produces displacement, and the displacement is proportional to the pressure difference. Therefore, the capacitance on both sides is unequal, which is converted into a signal proportional to the pressure through oscillation and demodulation.

Characteristics of pressure transmitter
1) the tested medium is widely used, which can be used to measure oil, water and paste compatible with 316 stainless steel and 304 stainless steel, and has a certain anti-corrosion ability.
2) high accuracy, high stability, imported original sensor, good linearity, high temperature stability.
3) small size, light weight, easy to install, debug and use
4) stainless steel fully enclosed shell, waterproof.
5) the pressure sensor directly senses the pressure at the liquid level under test and is not affected by medium foaming and deposition.
